## Abstract

This amendment modifies the Class E airspace areas at Owensboro, KY. A VHF Omnidirectional Range (VOR) Runway (RWY) 5 Standard Instrument Approach Procedure (SIAP) has been developed for Owensboro-Daviess County Airport. As a result additional controlled airspace is needed to accommodate the SIAP and for Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) operations at the airport. This amendment will provide a southwest extension to the existing Class D surface area and increase the radius of the Class E airspace that extends upward from 700 feet above the surface of the earth.
