## Abstract

The Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (OFHEO) is issuing a final regulation to clarify and to codify OFHEO's authority and ongoing responsibility to oversee and enforce the statutory requirements affecting the operations of the Federal National Mortgage Association and the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation under the National Flood Insurance Reform Act of 1994.
