## Abstract

This final rule amends HUD's regulations governing the Department's equal employment opportunity policies, procedures and programs. The amendments update the Department's current EEO regulations and make them consistent with recently issued regulations of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). The final rule follows publication of an October 26, 2000 proposed rule, and takes into consideration the public comment received on the proposed rule.
