## Abstract

The Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (OFHEO) is responsible for ensuring the safety and soundness of the Federal National Mortgage Association and the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Enterprises). In furtherance of that responsibility, OFHEO is issuing a final regulation to set forth minimum standards with respect to corporate governance practices and procedures of the Enterprises.
