## Abstract

This final rule makes conforming amendments to HUD's lead- based paint regulations, and certain technical corrections and clarifying changes. Among other things, this rule clarifies HUD's definitions and standards for dust-lead and soil-lead hazards to make them consistent with the final rule of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on Identification of Dangerous Levels of Lead, as required by Title X of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1992.
