## Abstract

This final rule amends the regulations governing the property improvement and manufactured home loan insurance programs under Title I, section 2 of the National Housing Act. This rule permits the Secretary to require that Title I insurance charge payments be made through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) program. The purpose of this rule is to improve the efficiency of the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) Title I insurance program and reduce costs to HUD lenders.
