## Abstract

This final rule amends HUD's regulations for the Shelter Plus Care Housing Program. In an effort to comply with the President's regulatory reform initiatives, this rule will streamline the Shelter Plus Care regulations by removing provisions that are redundant of statutes or are otherwise unnecessary. This final rule will make the Shelter Plus Care regulations clearer and more concise.
