## Abstract

This final rule amends HUD's regulations for the Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) program. In an effort to comply with the President's regulatory reform initiatives, this rule will streamline the HOPWA regulations by eliminating provisions that are duplicative of statutes or are otherwise unnecessary. This final rule will make the regulations more concise.
