## Abstract

This final rule amends HUD's regulations for the Family Self- Sufficiency (FSS) Program. In an effort to comply with the President's regulatory reform initiatives, this rule will streamline the Family Self-Sufficiency Program regulations by consolidating the public housing and the Section 8 FSS regulations and by eliminating redundant or otherwise unnecessary provisions. This final rule will make the Family Self-Sufficiency regulations clearer and more concise.
