## Abstract

This final rule amends HUD's regulations at 24 CFR part 202 relating to Approval of Lending Institutions and Mortgagees. In an effort to comply with the President's regulatory reform initiatives, this rule will streamline subparts A & B, which relate to approval of Title I Lending Institutions and Approval of Mortgagees, respectively, because certain provisions are not necessary.
