## Abstract

This final rule amends HUD's regulations for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. In an effort to comply with the President's regulatory reform initiatives, this rule will streamline the CDBG regulations by eliminating provisions that are redundant of statutes or are otherwise unnecessary. This final rule will make the CDBG regulations clearer and more concise.
