## Abstract

After reviewing the regulations governing the Disability and Rehabilitation Research Programs, administered by the Department's National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR), the Secretary amends these regulations. These amendments consolidate the regulations for six programs into one CFR part. As part of the Department's efforts to implement the President's Regulatory Reinvention Initiative, the amendments remove unnecessary regulations, clarify program requirements, and improve the selection criteria.
