Abstract

The Secretary amends the regulations governing the Preschool Grants for Children with Disabilities program. These provisions would affect the allocation of funds to States and local educational agencies (LEAs). These amendments are needed to implement changes recently enacted by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act Amendments of 1997 (IDEA Amendments of 1997).
