Based on the review of the December 12, 2007, CAFO annual compliance inspection conducted by the EPA, violations were identified to the Clean Water ActÂs NPDES Program. The violations included failure to obtain liner certification on the overflow pond used in the animal waste retention structure (AWRS) system, failure to maintain crop, application rates, and application records of wastewater to show nutrient levels applied below crop uptake levels, and applying wastewater effluent during rainfall events.
