EPA refers this civil enforcement case against Pulte Homes Corporation for failure to obtain a general storm water permit for construction activities and unpermitted discharges to waters of the US. In Colorado, Pulte Homes is involved in residential building at 19 sites. Region 9 has developed a storm water referral for numerous violations by Pulte Homes and has been actively negotiating those violations with DOJ and Pulte Homes. By this letter referral, Region 8 proposes to join the Region 9 effort.
