This Settlement Agreement concerns the North Hollywood Operable Unit ( NHOU ) of the San Fernando Valley Superfund Site, Area 1 which is located in the vicinity of Los Angeles, California. This Settlement Agreement is entered into pursuant to the authority vested in the Administrator of the US EPA by Section 122(h)(1) of CERCLA and seeks cost recovery of past response costs at the site. this Settlement Agreement and Order on Consent (2nd Amendment) is to recover costs necessary for continued operation and maintenance of the groundwater treatment and extraction system at the NHOU.
