Route 66 Hotels, Ltd (TXU010380): A storm water compliance inspection was conducted by EPA on February 4, 2004, at the construction site of the Country Inn & Suites by Carlson in Amarillo, TX. The inspection was to monitor compliance with the Texas Storm Water General Permit for Construction Activities. It was determined that Route 66 Hotels, Ltd., had not prepared a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) for this 1.8 acre site, and no best management practices (BMPs) had been employed. Because no SWPPP had been prepared and there was no signed construction site notice posted, Route 66 Hotels, Ltd., was not automatically covered under the general permit. However, the Respondent met the criteria for the Expedited Settlement Offer (ESO), which was extended by Administrative Order CWA-06-2004-1987 on March 5, 2004.
