This is an Administrative Penalty action pursuant to RCRA issued to Grifols Biologicals Inc., Probitas Pharma Inc., Alpha Therapeutic Corporation and Welfide International Corporation. The violations involve mismanagement of ignitables, corrosives, mercury, potassium cyanide and phenol and lack of training records and air emission controls. The combined Complaint and Consent Agreement / Final Order establishes a penalty in the amount of $156,546 and provide certification of compliance with the air emission control requirements for the hazardous waste tanks.
