Violation: The Respondent's facility was a point source discharge of a pollutant to waters of the US. The violation was identified based on an EPA inspection conducted at the facility on October 21, 2008. The violation found the facility had an unauthorized discharge of oil drilling mud to a tributary of Clear Creek.
Relief: A cease and desist Administrative Order for compliance is being issued to the Respondent to perform the following: cease all discharges of pollutants from the facility; remove all drilling mud from the impacted water body; and submit written certification.
