Violation: Respondent's tank battery facility was a point source discharge of a pollutant to waters of the US. The Respondent's facility was inspected by the EPA on December 16, 2008, here an unauthorized discharge of oil field brine to a wetlands of Smackover Creek was observed.
Relief: An Administrative Order is being issued to the Respondent requiring the following: cease all discharges of pollutants from the facility; remove all brine and contaminated soils form the flow path; remove all brine from wetlands area; submit certification.
