EPA alleges that the Respondent(s) is in violation of its NPDES permit authorized under Section 402 of the CWA. Violations include discharges that exceeded effluent limits as specified in its individual permit and failure to properly operate and maintain the facility. There's been some corporate restructuring so EPA's including the parent company (Hecla Mining Company) and the owner/operator (Hecla Limited) as Respondents. (Also see: 10-2009-0143)
