Violation: The Respondent's oil field facility was a point source discharge of a pollutant to waters of the US. An EPA inspector inspected the facility on February 10, 2009, and observed brine had been discharged from the facility to a tributary of Beaver Creek.
Relief: An Cease and Desist Administrative Order is being issued to the Respondent requiring the following: cease all discharges of pollutants from the facility; remove all brine from the flow path in between the facility and the point of entry; remove all the brine from the impacted water body; and to submit written certification.
