An AOC was entered between the Respondent and EPA for the Palo Seco Site, for performance of a removal action under CERCLA. The AOC addresses the groundwater PCB contamination found at various Areas of Interests (AOIs). The work to be performed includes an enhanced delineation and accurate identification of a PCB-contaminated oil layer in soils which are in contact with such contamination and the performance of confirmatory sampling to determine the adequacy of the removal activities to be performed.
