On April 28, 2009, EPA Region 5 filed an Administrative Complaint and Consent Agreement and Final Order, resolving the matter of Laminated Products, Inc., Kenosha, Wisconsin.
The complaint cites Laminated Products, Inc. for violations of the Wisconsin State Implementation Plan, specifically Wis. Admin. Code NR 423.035(3)(a)(3), which specifies a 3.8 lb of VOC per gallon limit for general cleaning activity, and 5.8 lb of VOC per gallon limit for polyvinylchloride surfaces. Laminated Products, Inc. came into compliance by taking limitations in its Title V permit. This settlement will require Laminated Products, Inc. to pay a penalty of $5,000.
