This administrative order on consent is entered into by the US EPA and Walton CWCA Golden West 70 LLC under Section 122(h)(1) of Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980. In response to a release or threatened release of hazardous substances at or from the U.S. Colloidal Essence Site principally located at 9330 7th Avenue, Suite A, in Rancho Cucamonga, San Bernardino County, California, US EPA issued a unilateral administrative order (EPA docket 9-2008-0012 dated 04/11/2008) to Walton to remove hazardous substances at the site under oversight of EPA. Walton complied with the response requirements stated in the UAO and EPA provided oversight of the response. In the course of EPA's activities at the site, EPA incurred response costs. This administrative order requires Walton to reimburse EPA for these costs.
