On June 23, 2005, the Respondent had an unauthorized discharge of approximately 15 barrels of synthetic based drilling mud in Green Canyon Block 652 to the Gulf of Mexico in violation of Section 301 of the CWA. The Respondent reported the discharge to the National Response Center (NRC), and was assigned NRC No. 763224.
