Violation: The Respondent's oil field facility was a point source discharge of a pollutant to a waters of the US. The facility was inspected on May 13, 2009, by the EPA. It was observed that the facility was discharging oil field brine from a seep to a tributary of Beaver Creek.
Relief: An AO is being issued requiring the Respondent to perform the following: cease all discharges of pollutants from the facility; remove all the brine from the flow path located in-between the facility and the point of entry; remove all the brine from the tributary of Beaver Creek; and to submit written certification.
