Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4s) covered by the Phase II MS4 General Permit were required to submit a Notice of Intent (NOI)and a Storm Water Management Program (SWMP) by October 1, 2007. Region 6 has provided compliance assistance with the MS4s in the State of New Mexico. However, New Mexico State University, NMR04L002, did not submit the required NOI or SWMP by the deadline. An administrative order was issued on May 11, 2009, addressing the violations.
