Violation: The Respondent's facility was a point source discharge of a pollutant to a waters of the US. The facility was inspected by the EPA on May 28, 2009. It was observed that on or about the inspection date oil field brine had been discharged from the facility to a tributary of Rock Creek.
Relief: An Administrative Order is being issued to the Respondent requiring the following: cease all discharges of pollutants from the facility; remove all the brine from the facility; remove all the brine from the impacted water body; and submit written certification that the requirement of the Order have been completed.
