Lakeside Scrap Metals, Inc. is a small scrapyard in Cleveland, Ohio. Before EPA's inspection, they accepted appliances without obtaining a verification statement to confirm the refrigerant was properly removed nor did the facility own recovery equipment to complete the removal themselves. Since EPA's involvement, Lakeside has stopped accepting appliances at their facility.
