: On September 19, the U.S. Navy issued an Action Memorandum (AM) for a Non-Time Critical Removal Action consisting of excavation and offsite disposal of soils impacted by contamination from lead and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) at UXO-002 OU2, Former Skeet Ranges. Approximately 1,512 cubic yards of contaminated soils are expected to be removed and stabilized with 10% Portland cement. The soils will be shipped offsite for disposal as non-hazardous waste at a Subtitle D landfill. A concurrence letter was issued by EPA on August 29.
