On December 27, 2010, Region 10 filed a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) for Clean Water Act (CWA) violations by the M.V. R/M Thorstenson of Icicle Seafoods, Inc. Icicle was in violation of Section 301 of the CWA for the discharge of seafood processing waste without authorization from a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit. The terms of the settlement require Icicle Seafoods, Inc. to pay a penalty of $5,920.
