On December 29, 2010, Region I issued an Immediate Compliance Order under Section 113(a)(3) of the Clean Air Act to A-Best Abatement, Inc. of Salem, NH. The Respondent was cited under the Asbestos NESHAP for failing to provide EPA with notification of a demolition or renovation at least ten days before work began at the St. Marks Church located at 60 Narragansett Street in Jamestown, RI. The order requires the Respondent to immediately comply with the Asbestos NESHAP.
