Facility was in violation of state and federal Underground storage tanks (UST) leak detection regulations for indadequate release detection of the tank and piping, and failing to conduct annual cathodic protection test. A compliance order was issued requiring the owner/operator to conduct tests as required by the state of Connecticut UST release detection requirements. Although the violations cited were corrected, the owner decided to install an aboveground system.
