Respondent owns and operates the Bolton Landing Marina in Bolton Landing, NY. Stormwater associated with industrial activity from this facility was discharged into Lake George via direct surface runoff and a storm drain located on site. An EPA contractor conducted a reconnaissance inspection of the facility on September 29, 2010. The Respondent failed to obtain coverage under the NYSDEC SPDES Multi-Sector General Permit for Stormwater discharges associated with industrial activity.
