Respondent owns and operates the Northampton Marina in Mayfield, NY. Stormwater associated with industrial activity from this Facility is discharged into Sacandaga Lake, a navigable water of the US via direct surface runoff and a storm drain located on site. A duly authorized representative of EPA conducted a reconnaissance inspection of the Facility on 10/19/2010. The Facility failed to obtain coverage under the NYSDEC SPDES Multi-Sector General Permit for Stormwater Discharges Associated with Industrial Activity.
