The AO contains EPAÂs findings that Cedar has violated the federal Stratospheric Ozone Protection regulations found at 40 C.F.R. Part 82, Subpart F. These regulations establish requirements for the service, maintenance, repair, and disposal of certain refrigeration equipment that contains ozone-depleting substances. CedarÂs violated leak repair, recordkeeping, and initial and follow-up testing requirements. As a result, CedarÂs may have emitted excess ozone-depleting substances into the atmosphere.
