On May 25, 2011, Region 10 issued a compliance order to the City of Soda Springs. The Order requires the City to complete the work as necessary to bring its wastewater treatment plant into compliance with the final ammonia effluent limits in its NPDES permit. Under this compliance order, the City must achieve full compliance with its permit effluent limits by December 31, 2013.
