EPA entered into a settlement agreement for 7 counts of RCRA hazardous waste violations at Stork Materials Testing & Inspection (SMTI), a non-destructive testing facility located in Rancho Dominguez, CA. The violations included failure to properly close hazardous waste containers, not labeling hazardous waste containers, failure to have a contingency plan, inadequate emergency equipment, and failure to implement a hazardous waste management training plan.
