On December 9, 2010, Jeld-Wen Inc. self-disclosed several violations of EPA's Multi-Sector General Permit for Stormwater Discharges Associated with Industrial Activity (MSGP) at its White Swan facility. Violations included failure to conduct a comprehensive site assessment and failure to submit several reports as required by the MSGP. EPA determined that the disclosure meets the conditions of EPA's Audit Policy and that the violations are eligible for a waiver of civil penalties.
