This administrative complaint was filed in response to the facility's failure to report a 10/13/2009 release of sulfuric acid in a timely manner to the NRC, SERC and LEPC. The release was caused by third party vandalism and was discovered by local police on routine rounds. A delay in mitigating the release occurred because the local governments did not have contact information for the company.
