Summary

Respondent, located in Belvidere, NJ submitted a letter of self-disclosure to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on July 9, 2010. The disclosure indicated that the company had failed to file timely Toxic Release Inventory (TRI). A Form A was submitted for zinc compounds for calendar year 2008 when the facility did not meet the criteria for submitting a Form A. The facility exceeded the 500 pounds limit criteria for releases and transfers of chemicals, and therefore, was not eligible to submit a Form A. EPA has determined that the company meets the conditions of the Audit Policy for 100% elimination of the total gravity-based penalties. The violations disclosed have been corrected by the Respondent.
