On July 18, 2011, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Complaint pursuant to the Clean Water Act (CWA) to Ellis Thomas (dba CSC Oil Company) located in Pawhuska, OK. The Respondent's oil field facility was inspected by EPA on March 1, 2011. During the inspection, EPA observed that a tank battery had discharged oil field brine and produced wastewater to Soldier Creek. A Cease and Desist Administrative Order was issued to Ellis Thomas on March 7, 2011. The signed CAFO was filed on December 12, 2011.
