The Respondent is a correctional facility operating the Central NM Correctional Facility wastewater treatment plant that discharges to the Middle Rio Grande Basin. The Respondent was in violation of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit. The violations alleged include, but are not limited to, failure to meet effluent limitations and submit DMRs. The Respondent is subject to regulations of the Clean Water Act (CWA).
