On August 3, 2012, Region 1 filed an Administrative Complaint alleging that 290 Pratt Street, LLC failed to comply with the disposal requirements for polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in violation of TSCA, 15 U.S.C. § 2601 et seq. and 40 C.F.R. Part 761 at the Meriden Enterprise Center facility in Meriden, Connecticut. The Complaint notifies 290 Pratt Street, LLC of the statutory maximum penalty for its alleged violations, but the Complaint does not propose a specific penalty amount. Consent Agreement and Final Order( CAFO ) that will settle EPA's claims for civil penalties at 290 Pratt Street LLC (Respondent) for alleged violations of Section 6(e) and Section 15 of the Toxic Substances and Conrol Act ( TSCA ), 15 U.S.C.Section 2605(e) and the Polychlorinated Bienphenyl ( PCB ) Regulations at 40 C.F.R Part 761.
