On April 5, 2012, EPA concluded administrative enforcement actions against three companies for violating federal pesticide reporting requirements. Boyd Technologies, Inc. of South Lee and Duziem Laboratories, Inc. of Lowell, Massachusetts and Rachel Systems, Inc. of New Haven, Connecticut agreed that in lieu of penalties, all parties will cancel their pesticide-producing establishment registrations, will not produce pesticides, and will not re-register their establishments for at least five years. The actions, brought under FIFRA, do not include any admission of liability for the violations alleged.
