EPA filed an administrative complaint against Respondent John M. Sayig alleging violations of the Lead Disclosure Rule under TSCA. Respondent owns and leases residential housing in and around Providence, Rhode Island. Respondent failed to provide prospective tenants with information regarding the presence of lead-based paint and lead-based paint hazards in properties subject to the complaint as well as educational information about protecting family members from lead in residential housing. In the complaint, EPA is seeking a penalty for 28 violations of the Lead Disclosure Rule.
