On April 26, 2012, Region 10 entered into a consent agreement and final order assessing a $6,000 civil penalty against Pace International, LLC for selling the misbranded pesticide product ÂPenbotec 400SC. An EPA investigation found that a shipment of imported product was not properly labeled. Upon discovery of the problem, EPA issued a Stop Sale, Use, or Removal Order (SSURO). Pace promptly corrected the violations.
