On November 18, 2011, EPA Region 6 issued a 3013 Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act to Valero Port Arthur Refinery (Valero Port Arthur) located in Port Arthur, Texas. The AO requires Valero Port Arthur to perform environmental sampling to determine the nature and extent of releases of hazardous wastes at the facility. Valero Port Arthur must respond to EPA Region 6 by the Compliance Date(s).
