On March 12, 2012, EPA Region 10 filed a Consent Agreement and Final Order to initiate and simultaneously resolve an administrative action filed under Section 313 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act of 1986 with US Ecology Idaho, Inc. EPA alleged that US Ecology Idaho, Inc., a hazardous waste disposal facility located in Grand View, Idaho, failed to submit timely Toxic Chemical Release Inventory Reporting Forms (ÂForm RÂ) for aluminum, arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, cobalt, copper and copper compounds, diethanolamine, ethylene glycol, lead and lead compounds, manganese, mercury, methyl isobutyl ketone, nickel, nitric acid, polychlorinated biphenyls, selenium, silver, thallium, and zinc for calendar year 2009. US Ecology Idaho, Inc. has agreed to pay a penalty of $184,400.
